Lesson learned for me for next year

I got one at 8.57 an another at 11.35 both soaked thru, game wee birds in this weather.

I heard its an english bird.

O well thats me snookered if a get a bird as goin to a party an already put it off for an hour.

I got one back tonight which was lost at our second young bird race 3rd August from Coldstream 63 mile, two thots , 1 someone brought it back up the road or 2 it went down for one reason or another and now that the fields have been cut it has picked on wheat and barley and got enough strength to get up and find home, I choose the later as the bird only had a few tosses prior to racing it will get a chance next year. After all ask yourself the question if you were not spared when you made a mistake in your younger days would you still be here, I certainly would not be lol
