Hi Pompey Mick - moon is clearly visible in Redcar aswell - don't like those conditions broken cloud, strong SSW Wind Does any one know why the moon is clearly visible - ie why this happens? (Does it not know its daytime....)

In a channel race earlier this year, we were led to believe that we were 2nd club, before the times had been read off, and that we had been beaten by 3 minutes at club level. Hubby went off to the Fed, and I got a phone call from a fellow club member with the correct times - that we had won the club, by 8 1/2 minutes, we also topped the Fed and the section - so we were a bit gobsmacked, as we didn't even think we'd won the club at one point. never mind top the Fed
