  1. Good to see you enjoying yourself Alan, hope you have a nice run up the road the Morra!
  2. Soul destroying george.chin up pal.
  3. David I think we should leave it at that as you appear to be a bit too deep for me and have me lost with your logic, I also do not take kindly to your rude remarks above which is a first for me in over 40 years in the sport, and yes you are correct there were only 16 birds in the whole season that competed with the SNFC this year flying over 600miles. I do not take credit off birds and think I am one of the first to offer my hand in congratulations!!!and yes it is hard to fly birds into the west!!
  4. Davie I did not get involved with your thread as I knew it would end up with throwing stones and you have proved me right !!!,the comments above are just plain rude and I feel you have let yourself down badly!!! Ps I have not discussed this thread with anyone through pms or any other communications.
  5. Talking of scottish birds Usually see wee norman Orr with a bird in the auction but not this year!
  6. David I take it you are referring to the thread I added about the pink sales issue of the BHW? Me and you have discussed this west of Scotland thing ( not religion I hasten to add!!!! Lol ) on more than a few occasions and I am sure that we both have worked out that we have different opinions as to the make up and type of birds capable of flying 500 - 600 miles into different areas of Scotland and even the UK on the whole, good and great distance pigeons are in all areas of the country!
  7. Top top dooman Geordie and yes like doomen he can tell us about his winners lol, also a very good golfer. was with George tonight looking over some nice birds?
  8. Johnstone ally.
  9. George Harris Dunipace has the best results followed by JIm Wilkinson of AIrdrie, featuring on many results showing consistency over the years is a different question and involves a few top west fanciers, you certainly enjoy the west section and fanciers Davie. ps special mention also to the Morris bros who have an excellent record at the inlands flying into the nationals hardest section F.
  10. Thanks m8 like the look of lot 9 and 10 well bred birds if I was being picky no 9, I get annoyed at names for latebreds," though " red ted" and " simply perfect"??
  11. Have a look through the issue and let me know!!! Robbie have a look at the issue and tell me what would fly 700 mls into the broch??
  12. Not really jim but interested in what fanciers would think of a good addition.
  13. In your opinion what birds looking through the sales issue above would fly these distances into the west of Scotland with the SNFC??
  14. Losing the president and senior vice President today could have been a real problem but with two young men stepping forward from the floor for the presidency shows there are fanciers willing to take on one of the most difficult jobs in scottish pigeondom.good luck.
