racing classes surely for racing pigeons,yes best looking best handling,but for likliest (racing class) the judge must pick the bird most suited for the job he wants it to do. :)

got to agree,these half showy dipped whatever have been about for years, but can be sorted out by a good racing judge. :)

so when judging a big show this could be the thinking of "likeliest" would these lovely big dipped birds be worth waiting on in a tough 300 plus mls race??

could be right there,most big shows around the uk will include birds that have been "dipped" pity really,your best bet is competing in local shows against local racing men,showing RACING PIGEONS, ;)

got to agree jock allans gold cup record was second to none,i dont think this fanciers performances were fully heighlighted,70,s & 80,s fantastic.

an old book but still a very good read is "alf bakers" autobiography.

maybe should have put "PRIDE OF GREAT BRITAIN" as fantastic performances from all home nations,but very proud to be a scot.
