noy sure what the answer is but i know what route i want my birds flying. :)

over the last 12 years i have raced 1996-1998 west 1999-2003 east 2004-2008 west 2008------- east i have to say my best racers and best racing have been from what we call the east route. :)

sorry alf all new racepoints to me,flew west last year.

wakefield 22/25,newbury 7/10 and leicester 18/19, these 3 races are over 240mls and having been racing for over 35 years would say that these returns are more than reasonable,got a yearling from leicester today and was very happy too see it.

have a 7 yr old hen at eastbourne snfc this weekend.she was on the snfc newbury result 2 weeks ago. ;)

think the spangle strain were created by a chap called oliver dix a long time ago,a lot of west country fanciers have raced the spangle strain with great success at the distance,mike young flew these birds with great distinction and before him jack brains,the west country could be your best bet at finding some. ;) :)
