dont know why slinky thinks like that stb, proof certainly in the pudding,as for myself and partner(old jock)we are delighted to be part of the half dozen or so fanciers to complete the GOLD CUP programme which was definately a challenge, already looking forward to next years races. :) :)
good point delboy, but no one has mentioned that we keep the doos to race and sometimes youngbird racing can be quiet exciting, after all it can be a long winter if you are no good at the shows. :)
dont think dennis anderson is chasing club averages, but last year he won best average all scottish national races including YOUNG BIRD NATIONAL thats maybe why he competes in 1 yb race and after all these years of losing young birds from lockerbie and gretna why are you guys still racing from there????????? i have learned my lesson and am now sitting with a healthy team of yearlings. ;) :)
was standing outside the loft waiting for birds from falaise tonight when percy struck a red cheq at 9.35pm,the bird was an old bird and looked like a hen she carried on her journey heading west but is definately injured on her left side.hope the doo gets home. :( :(
jock if this is about joint convoying over 240 mls, almond valley, north west,w/lothian,midland,central and lanarkshire seems to have a much better balance.let the fanciers in the east coast do likewise. :) :)you never know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
