  1. sign of the times lewis,hopfully a few champs in the making tonight. :)
  2. started off a bit slow lewis but turned out ok,top price was £100,average about £45. :)
  3. was there tonight,some cracking youngbirds for sale and a very good turnout of fanciers. :)

  6. working in the morning till 12 got my pal bozzie coming for a youngster at lunchtime for the Traprain yb sale which is a topper of a smokie blue(wish i was keepin it lol )then off to see the jags at firhill with a basket of doos if the weather is ok,home 5.30ish,showered, suited and booted for a sportsmans dinner with the brother and pals,sunday all day with the doos. :) :)

  16. spot on Gordon,ma old mum has stayed all her life at the holding and does not remember swallows there in march. :) great to see them in one of the stables where they will nest.
  17. have none at the moment,first hatch will be at the weekend and we hope to have 50-55 for racing. :)
  18. was delighted to see the first pair of swallows at our small holding today,think this might be the earliest we have had them. :D

  22. nice wee article in this weeks racing pigeon page 22 from 1982 on G Pollock from Hamilton,i remember reading this article on this gentleman of the sport when it was first published,his good pied hen was 1st section 7th open snfc sartilly 82 with my good friends Martin & King shotts 2nd sec 8th open in the same race,George is also pictured in the same rp issue page 42 still active with the shu research committee.well done george. :) :)
  23. easy answer bigda,you can run a wee race yourself using the training facility at 50p a bird for the rest of the guys convoying with the lanarkshire,even us hill billys. :emoticon-0157-sun:
