not long in after watching the jags win 4 - 0 :D reading through this thread with great interest and again congratulating tam on his great ticket winning performance of 10 west section positions,but "the most positions ever won"not sure!!!,the recently changed criteria of 10/1 from 15/1 makes it almost impossible to compare fanciers performances of yesteryear with todays,for instance tams 10 tickets last week would have been only 4 tickets 5 years ago,the snfc ybn has thrown up some great performances and performers over the years only recently guys like Barclay Mccrindle and for over 25 years section E and F W & H Holland sometimes winning both sections on the same day!!!!!!!!. :) :) well done to all SNFC ticket winners as they are very hard to win,the 500 - 600 mile ones!!!! now thats a different question. ;)

frank me and ma dad dont care where we fly we had a great time on sunday waiting on the doos as always and if you are going to win the west section you have to beat all the guys in E AND F,and by the way had a lot of successful years in section F but E is where we are happy. ;)

well i dont know where i would fly frank as the lads in section f dont want us back. would be easier to up sticks m8. ;) i think your doos are fast enough.

no how you feel derek,we were on the same yard as the last ticket in our section. :( thats life as they say m8.

fairs fair frank i put a post up about the 1981 ybn redditch(30 years ago),a irvine was 1st west sec that day his dookit 300 yds from this years winner. :)sections have got to start and end somewhere.

nothing new here john,i put up a large thread on here 2 years ago with all the stats,will be the same next year and the year after,my idea was based on a split SECTIONS ADEF SECTIONS BCG. :(

yes great race for tom,i am afraid a return down the west coast wont bring open positions in the y/b national as it has been over 20 years since that happened.

i am not long back from the clock station and returns were very good,i can understand your annoyed as the solway returns seem to be poor,maybe there are a lot more doos home chris as these quick races fanciers tend to think that the race is all over quickly and lose interest as there are only 13 prizes in your section,i agree that yesterday was missed although imo todays outcome is not that bad. :)

great money for the ayrshire boys,well run sale. :)

just up from the loft and on my third change of clothes,soaked through as it has been hammering down from 10.30 am, the birds chose to home to their Aberfoyle loft today :lol:was happy to get them as i had a few calls and knew of some good early birds,looking forward to next year already, 6/10,home. :) will say well done to all that have timed today in what appears to be good return wise,special mention to clubmates vic couper (who will be close) tam richardson, great race tam!!!!!(think of previous years ;) )big del always there,midland boys tam mccafferty,eddie porter and jolly clark,east fanciers john bosworth, karen newcombe(get on pb more )most importantly the guys at the tail of the bank region f well done. :) :)
