I arrived at Elvanfoot this morning just in time to see the Lanarkshire transporter leaving ,however I tossed Mr, Grenfell's pigeon,hope it got home to Carluke OK.

Hoping to get a Carluke pigeon to Elvanfoot tomorrow morning to be released with the Lanarkshire trainers, belongs to a Mr.Grenfell.

Thought I might try and get this bird to Elvanfoot tomorrow morning ( Tuesday) the bird's owner thinks Lanarkshire trains from there about 11.30 hope this is right!

The problem is birds of prey specifically peregrine falcons it always has been and will continue to be as long as the Solway Federation vote by a substantial majority year after year to fly pigeons up through Cumbria which is widely known to host the highest concentration of peregrine falcons in Europe.

I got ETS for my club through the lottery and helped other clubs as well by writing constitutions for them and assisting them with their applications and I am glad that I was able to help as it is obvious that ETS is an enormous advance for the fancier.It is quite clear that many fanciers could never have afforded the system but for the lottery but that is no reason why they should be sneered at on this site.

The happiness,enthusiasm and cheerfulness on this site is quite infectious, how can you tell the difference between a pigeon fancier and a greetin faced got.

There ain't nothing gonny change,legislation is no use it might seem downbeat but peregrines ain't gonna go away we have to live with the problem and try and work around it as best we can, there is no magic solution.

John Quinn is quite correct,peregrines are here to stay.We must learn to deal with the problem as intelligently as we can,using any sort of action that works with regard to times of release when training etc.But the message is if you want to stay in the doo game learn to live with the problem.

This ain't all black and white what about a person that no one wants for good and sufficient reasons which I cannot really discuss on this site .There is nothing personal in this Delboy I am just telling it as Ihave found it and quite willing to concede that I am not as experienced as some, then maybe not.
