  1. Personally i think everyone else is missed the point here which I think is,the Morrocan union obviously as differant rules about issuing next years rings than what we do,so they have broken no rules by issuing them now,as to wether anyone could buy these rings, put them on birds now and then race them next year as youngsters i,m not sure how you would come off, suppose it would be down to what the differant associations in britain say in their rules.
  2. They obviously have differant rules than we do about issuing rings, and when birds can be rung.
  3. I have been in touch with our insurance company (NFU MUTUAL) and explained to them the suituation with ets clocks,as the policy is a all risks policy the clocks are basically covered wether you have them at home or at the club.I was advised to tell anyone who thought that their house insurance might cover them to get intouch with their own company to find out exactly what their own policy covered.
  4. Could be something funny going on here as I emailed Cottonheat this morning to say I was interested in a pair and could he tell me where he was from as I may be able to pick them up,still havn,t heard anything and now i hear he was on another site bidding for other stock birds after what he put on here.Sorry COTTONHEAT if I have got this all wrong but it seems a bit odd to 2 or 3 of us on here.DOES ANYONE KNOW THIS FANCIER.
  5. I think this would be very expensive but try this guy out he may be able to help,COLIN SURTEES 01913856879.
  6. Thought everybody wanted to get Coxy. ;D
  7. If the meeting is as you say called to discuss the race programme for next year and when you get there it is allready deciced on then the meeting is out of order and you should stand up and say so,it seems to me that there is a lot of clubs and feds on here that dont follow the rules, but i can see what you mean about why people dont turn up at AGM,S etc,but if the officials get away with it without nobody standing up to them it will carry on.
  8. I certainly dont disbelieve what you say about the birds but you say pair 3 are 2005 birds and that they have bred many channel winners fron 235 miles - 452 miles for yourself and others,as last year would of been their first year of breeding i take it that all the many winners are therfore only yearlings, just wondering how many you actually bred from them last year, and could you give me a bit more information about the winners.
  9. What sort of ages are the birds.
  10. You can put me down to swap a bird Mac,have also voted.

  16. It.s very rare that you see any youngbirds wether they be normal ones or latebreds advertised that are off birds that have produced winners or fed toppers at any time of the year.
  17. Just out of interest Paul when you say they aint good enough on what are you basing that on,Pedigree, performances of the birds their offering, they aint bred anything any good,or if their to be youngsters their brothers and sisters havn,t done any good.It allways interest,s me as to why someone buys a particular bird or birds or perhaps decides not to.
  18. Is that from the Whu.or is that what your club charges.
  19. If your club is in the RPRA it is making quite a bit on the sale of rings as the more they buy the cheaper they get.if they order before the 31st of jan.they must be in multiples of 50 which works out at just over 24p a ring.RPRA rings are not sent out until 2nd Jan so long as they are ordered before 14th Dec.
  20. The show is at the Telford International Centre (www.ticuk.com) on the 17 and 18 of Nov.Sat.9.30-5.00 Sun.9.30-3.30.all details are in the Racing Pigeon.
  21. The ring colours go in 5 year cycles so if everything goes to plan they will be green in 2008.
  22. With so much stuff on the market which is specifically made for pigeons i cannot understand why some people would even think of giving them anything which is meant for chickens etc.
  23. Mick I think if you check with the NFU the clocks will be covered even if the members have them at home, because if you think about it they have them at home when clocking in and they are covered, and also the insurance is for 12 months so in the off season they are kept at home and are still covered then.
  24. If you go on like you do on here your be out the door in about 10 seconds, only joking mate no offence, enjoy your break,i,m sure we will,LOL.
