    ETS

When you took your clock in first time they would take off a race progress printing, the race would carry on as normal when you took your clock back so you could clock further birds.
  7. Sorry to hear that,he is usually very good and sorts things out straight away.
  8. Have you spoken to Mark Palmer about it.
  9. If you have your race birds motivated enough cant see why you need to use a trapper.
  10. If they are RPRA rings you could put the numbers up on here and we can tell you what club they were issued to,then maybe ring the secretary to get some imformation on the member.
  11. Ring was issued to the Chryston Soc Fc,Tel.0141 7792557.Muirhead.Glasgow.
  12. Hi Robbie,Could you please tell me if it was all of the members clocks that failed to show arrival times, can you also remember if there was a code number on the sheet where the clocking times should have been, something like LC3.

  17. I was in the same boat myself a week ago after our old printer decided to play up,I was told about a site called priterbase .com which I loked at and decided on the OKI B2400 a laser printer. The price is £95.11 but i payed a extra £5 for delivery +vat =£117.63.If you need cables you need to pay extra but that means you dont then have to pay the delivery as its free on purchases over £100.The toner when it needs a new one cost £25 but will print 2000 sheets.
  18. Why not start our own list i,m sure there are people on here that will pick up strays for other members,as a club secretary I have been picking up strays for years now and getting them back to there owners the cheapest way possible.Perhars WEBMASTER could set up a page where members could add there name and in what area they would be prepared to cover.I will start off if you like,Mr.A.Drinkwater.Phone 01684-566836.I live in Great Malvern which is about 10 miles from Worcester,so if anyone as a bird reported close by give me a call.I often travell around the country so can sometimes liberate a bird near to home when its ready to go.
  19. We have both systems in our club and speaking from a secretaries view I would say that there are some things in one system that perhaps are not so good in another and visa versa but they both do the same job.I myself chose Bricon where as the other members chose Unikon it really is down to preferance, what I would say is make sure whatever the system you decide on the people at the club who will be setting things up etc, are quite happy with the one you decide to get, another thing I would do is decide on how many pads, cables etc you will need and then compare the cost of both systems it could save you a lot of money.
  20. The G.B. ring was issued to the National Flying Club so you will have to notify the RPRA to get the original owners name.
  21. Anyone suggest what and where I can get a parellal printer for the ETS systems from, been using a Epson stylus 440 but the print is bad and no ammount of head cleaning seems to get it any better.
  22. Was issued straight from the RPRA you will have to report it to them.
  23. The fee is now £1.50 which includes postage but there is room for 18 rings on the form so long as they are all from the same person.
  24. The sec.of the Hartcliffe club is a Mr.Taylor ring 01179661474 he may be able to help.
  25. Your heading says Best birds for Stock so to me buying latebreds or youngsters is a waste of time and could set you back a few years, personally I think that this is a difficult area in our sport because it is very hard to buy birds that will breed you winners from the start, and what fancier in their right mind will sell you birds that are breeding them winners and really that is what you want in your stock birds, even as some say buy pigeons that have done well racing but I,m sure there are many on here that have had a good racer but never been any good as a stock bird, the only sure way i think is to go to entire clearance sales and look through the birds and select the ones that were breeding them their winners at least then you know that they have bred winners before, they may cost you a bit but at least your not wasting money on birds that havn,t bred anything.
