no not too far at all , mine will have their first race this weekend about that distance , they have missed the first 3 races , first 2 were 85 mile and 3rd was about 115 mile , I expect them to do it without any issues. As greenland says it also depends on the amount of training etc
-
no you would be better to give them nothing tomorrow - then let them out the day after and feed light once you call tehm in , once you get some sort of control over them adjust the feed to suit . good luck - keeping them on the hungry side will do them more good than harm
-
name and shame the company because they are just taking the p*ss....
-
I chuck a ball at them on a length of string they soon get the idea - either in the air on in the loft,, I do allow them to roof for the first week or so as y/b but after that use the ball to keep them up,, good luck with them
-
the problem is you have lost control of your birds - nothing to do with your neighbour , keep them off the roof or you will continue to lose races , if you must move the gutter (but this is not the problem) suggest getting someone in to do it at your cost with your neighbours permission.. but don't be surprised if they tell you to do one.....

he maybe not happy Alan but I think I can see where hes coming from , we 'the British' seem to rush to buy Belgium birds when IMO we have better(or at least as good as) pigeons/fanciers here in the UK , at the end of the day do we know how many belgies come across to buy birds from our lads , not many I'd bet.... as the man more or less says its all down to the marketing......

AYE - Kev has swapped 2 y/b with me in the exchange , should be ready soon

Short term gain Alan double dip recession if the price of oil allowed to go too high / there#s no real demand its just oil traders driving the price

IMO - no bids should be allowed by pm - bids must be open and seen by everyone if the winning bidder has not paid within one or two weeks the bird is offered to the under bidder and the original non paying bidder is banned from buying or selling at any further sale
