At what age do you stop having the food available for them the whole time? Then do you limit them the amount they eat and feed just once a day? :-/

I left my eggs till Friday - just in case I'd had yet another 'blonde moment' ( I say that because it sounds better than a 'senior moment') and written the date wrong! A friend who is an avian vet nurse opened the eggs - the chicks were at the point of hatching - yolk sac virtually absorbed but they both had oedema around the back of their head and neck. :'(

What a feisty pigeon the cock is.....I put another pair in the loft with him today and he has turned into a monster...he wont let the other cock go anywhere.......keeps attacking him and trying to drive his missis too! He's sort of taken over the whole loft and the sputnik! I hope that he doesn't harm the new birds! :-/

Yes, I noticed how often they showed the street pigeons. I guess they are the easiest birds to take a group photo of if you discount waterfowl!
