ROTFLMAO ;D ;D
Tonight my 'other half' came out to the loft and said, "The bell has gone on the oven......
.....................
........................
Come on, I don't want another burnt meal! Who do you love best, me or those birds?.......No, don't answer that!"
I didn't! ;D ;D ;D ;D :
The trouble with the internet, Westy, is that you never can be sure if a person is really who they say they are. My advice is, if someone says something you don't like, don't even give them the satisfaction of a response, just log off!
I don't think that it's red mite.....have spoken to someone today who think it may well have been because I was in the loft with the hen waiting for her to lay - he thinks I disturbed her!!
How would I know if I have red mite? The other birds are all OK - four hatched today.
So, when these eggs hatch could I move the fantails out of the dovecote and into the loft?
It was good advice (thanks Silverwings) to put plastic eggs in the nestbox and see if they set them.....both eggs got knocked on the floor!
Brilliant Silverwings, thanks.
I've done just as you've suggested. (They still weren't on the eggs.) I'm glad the loft is in the back garden and not few miles away!! : ;D
