  4. Oh, I missed this thead! :B Thanks Dovescot but, out of my area. Actually - I don't really do weddings; I prefer funerals.

  6. Way to go Paulo. Congrats.
  7. AMTRAK!! Don't mention them! A couple of weeks ago I was singing their praises. On Friday, I arranged for two lots of birds to be collected from here today and delivered to the London area, with buyers paying COD. This morning I got a call from them telling me that I would have to ring the London depts to arrange it as they couldn't do it from this end! One London dept didn't answer, despite my hanging on for ages; the other said that they wanted the cash before they would pick up the birds at their end! I explained that that wasn't COD but she wouldn't have it - just kept repeating that it was their policy. What a mess! > >
  8. So sorry to read this. What about the RSPCA, if the police can't do anything? To deliberately burn defenceless birds must be prosecutable. Hope your house insurance will cover you. Good luck. Sue

  12. I have the forms but, can I transfer birds if the new owner doesn't have a loft number? Would just their name and address suffice? :-/ :-/
  13. Hope you managed to get the photo Jimmy. If it's not been back today, it'll be back tomorrow. Amazing how often they take one's best birds! :-/ :-/

  17. Blimey! What a lot of hard work! See what you can do when your retired?! LOL
  18. Good job. My birds sit in my conifers and eat them - they've not come to any harm!
  19. PM sent. Good to meet you too Lee. I hope they do well for you Thanks for all the kind words about the birds guys. I really can't take the credit any longer for these birds - it's all down to John Benson who flies (very successfully) out of Cowling who has been my mentor throughout. Without John I think I would have still been trying to train the fantail/homers to return!! :B : Sue
  20. Whoohoo he's looking good. Well done David and Stu. :)
