  1. Yep. ;D ;D ;D ;D
  2. Congratulations. A big welcome to baby Emily.
  3. There's more chance of her sitting on two eggs than one. I'd replace one with a plastic egg.
  4. Think that I prefer the 'angels' to the 'angles'...just looks like a misspelling to me....maybe it's the teacher in me!
  5. Dove tales or Dove Tails. Birds of a Feather. Mav's Doves. Doves of White. A Loving Touch. Try to get something people will remember if they see a board or ask.... I have a whole heap of ones I considered. Sue
  6. Thanks Lindsay - it was a bit scary, looking at how many things would be deleted but, I bit the bullet and all works well. Didn't cost a penny either. ;D ;D
  7. Ah, I thought that there were only three hens! :B
  8. The eggs will be infertile.
  9. Thanks Gareth - not that one though :'(. The one I found had images newer than 3 years old, as that's when we put the extension on.
  10. Thanks Davy but that one doesnt look in the gardens and round the back of the house! There was definitely one that showed an ariel view of my house with the new extension - none of the ones I've tried today do. :
  11. Thanks Lee, I've looked at that but, the one I used last year had much clearer images. :-/
  12. Thanks Lindsay, no, it wasn't that one - it was an ariel view. :-/ Jon
  13. Last year, I found a really good website which showed a clear, up to date, satellite image of my house, I could move it around to view from different angles...it was excellent but, stupidly, I didn't save it and now I cant find it! > > I've tried Goolge Earth, Multimaps, About my Place and Bing map but it wasn't any of these! Has anyone any idea what I'm looking for please? : :

    im off now lads

Truth will out James - don't spit your dummy out - send the PMs to Pete and let it be dealt with through the correct channels.
  15. Thorough this was a different cock? :-/
  16. You mean her nest mate laid last year? well some YBs do but I wouldnt let them rear young...just replace with plastic eggs.
  17. So, you've just got her back in and paired her and you wonder why she hasnt laid??....she's not going to lay for at least ten days, probably longer, she needs to settle as Bewted says. maybe she was too young last year - you wouldnt have reared youngsters off her if she was a YB then.
  18. Well is she paired? Did you get her mate back in?
  19. Don't feed them on the lawn. Put a little on the landing board to bring them down, feed them when they come in the loft.
  20. Phew! : Make sure you see 'em before you part with your pennies.
  21. One clove fresh garlic per gallon once a week, 1 tablespoon cider vinegar to 1 gallon water once a week and multi vits once a week. Plain water the other four days.

How do you know my server, system and browser? I thought it was private?? :-/ ??)
  23. ;D ;D ;D ROFL I soak clay ones for one hour then wash with pan scrub, they clean up easily.....and I don't get sweaty babies! ;D
  24. Well done. Some I shift by moving the nest bowl 4" a day till I get them where I want. Others come off when they're moved. One hen laid her first egg on the loft floor just below her nest box, I shut her in her box to lay the second egg but she didn't sit them. A day later, I put the eggs in the original place, on the floor, and she went straight back down on them! :
  25. Sweaty!!
