    Mike I said the peregrines were down late to nest due to the cold snap in spring that's why the early races were a bit better than normal. Feeding and teaching youngsters now

    Jim not sure what Lanarkshire do. But the Irish boys who liberate at Strathclyde park have the shutters up until there ready to lib then they cut the strings then close the shutters then liberate.

    What you building a team for?? After two years most of your old birds will be dead or lost. Racing pigeons has changed in the last 20 years no time to build teams unlike years ago when most guys built a team of old birds for the distance races . Goodness sake the birds are just over the 200 mile and a lot guys are ready to finish up for the season with losses etc. Yearlings should be raced out only the lucky good ones will remain. Sorry to be brutal but its the truth

    Don't know if this has anything to do with the tough races Lanarkshire has experienced over the last two weekends Been red this weekend the same as last weekend after last weeks race there was an earthquake in Wales which measured 3.8 on the richter scale http://www.n3kl.org/sun/images/noaa_satenv.gif I don't have the answers for the losses but someone needs to look into it and quick,

    Doos are working in. I was up at davie Allisons loft three doos in ten minutes at 19.30 Gerry Mcfall just text me he just got a couple of birds just then a few minutes apart.
