  1. the scottish national flying club has some serious decisions to make about future race programs gone is the hay day of long distance racing for one reason and one reason only people don't have the birds to give it a go due to the terrible losses they have taken since april we have sat back and just excepted these losses time to do something now

  7. just back from my wee break congratulations to big jim meikle great on winning first section and another to go with it and also to billy graham on his fine bird sorry to see it was such a disaster hope more birds can make it back to fight another day

  16. just always thought birds never liked crossing water for birds to be so far out shocks me wonder where they race from to be so far out unless the wind blows them of course

  18. they are not having much luck the glasgow boys with there youngbirds but it is very wild so correct choice made in bringing them home

  20. just seen the bbc the were showing a battle of britain celebration at folkstone you could see for right across the english channel not a cloud in the sky with light winds only problem being there maybe a lot of planes doing fly pasts

  22. i was going to send my clermont doos but i thought the weather was a bit dodgy so i just left them at home hope they make it home quickly alan

  24. got holland at 9-1 before the start worried about spain if they click they could win very easily
