  10. dont mean this to sound cheeky billy but dont you need older birds to race next year or will you just depend on yearlings every year i was thinking this might be the way forward for me breed 100 young and race every race young bird and yearling

  15. well done mate make the most of getting a fine result against the whole of scotland.i know the losses will put a dampener on it for you but make the most of it and worry about the birds in the loft and some might still turn up as for building up a team i am in the same position i stopped all my yearlings at 270 miles will it guarantee me winners as two year olds ????

  22. bad management who was the fed official in charge of uddingston??? was he or she told of the mistakes made at bovingdon so to make sure it never happened again
  23. just cant understand how people would miss this race for ypres its like the grand national or derby of pigeon racing to test yourself against the best birds and fanciers in scotland ever since i was a young boy rennes was the race you wanted a timer although rennes is no longer the race still means the same to me

Turns out the clever dick's who were marking the pool sheets in the Uddingston station REFUSED to write the rubber ring numbers onto the Fed pool sheets, well the table i was working at marked them all and never refused once seems like the organisation was the problem in uddingston nobody new who was getting what sheet
  25. cracking performance from geordie lightbody well done and the two older members paddy green and arthur hughes i marked all three members birds they were in cracking order mr hughes three doos were in superb condition for a man of 85 years of age
