i have seen good sprint birds and distance birds both built like wee cock sparrow and big garth.rab ritchie in my club does well at the distance all his birds are big.i have 2 birds both bread for distance one wee one big. :-/

i trained my cat not to go for birds with water.kitten looks intrested in birds water over it .it soon learns not to go near the birds . cat at your loft more chance of it not coming back with water thrown at it than stones.

i have 3 cats as anyone who has been hear can tell you also 2 dogs. any cat that comes near the territory of my cats face a fight. my cats also have 2 bull terriers as back up .all 5 dont bother the pigeons . plus any vermin the cats deal with
