Yes I leave it open phil the birds are used to having food in front of them so no need to gorge and a bird in form will not eat too much anyway.

I've had a few lefts pair together over the years but mostly on the female side :emoticon-0136-giggle:

Avian vets are as rare as hens teeth here in N.Ireland, most fanciers have to send dropping samples off to England to have their birds tested and diagnosed

At the beginning our local council said they would monitor the usage and amount of Pigeon waste being dumped with a view of putting a charge on the amount of waste being dumped but I think they seen sense and just supplied the skip facility.

The local council here in Derry have a special container at one of their depots for all animal waste and it is used by most of the fanciers in our area to dispose of the waste that is cleaned out in the loft

No birds have been stolen in Forres. ?? none missing in bck either ?? A bit of scare mongering me thinks :emoticon-0138-thinking:

I have to agree with you Andy I hate pairing up time although I'm not as bad as yourself. I'll be pairing about 18 pair together in a few weeks but the other 40+ odd socks can sort themselves out
