  1. Whoever your God may they be with you, our thoughts and prayers are with those you leave behind. Sleep well Josh, there's no pain in heaven.
  2. Looking forward to it jimmy. Will jump off the thread now though as I don't wish to steal Debbies thunder after all its nice to see praise offered, much better than complaints.
  3. I simply pointed out a fact that its a matter of opinion on who's the best courier, and, and as I'm constantly reminded by members, this is a forum for us to air our opinions and I guess I excersised my right to that opinion as did the navigator. As for being quiet Chris, far from it thanks.
  4. There's plenty of sites that allow you to upload images although in this case your more than welcome to use one of my servers to host the pics. Jamie
  5. Matter of opinion there I suspect.
  6. The pigeons mouth is simular to a humans. Here's how the mouth is made up. The soft area at the back of the roof of the mouth (the soft palate) The tonsils and two ridges of tissue in front of and behind the tonsils (called the tonsillar pillars), it could be these pillars that are referred to as curtains. The pallet, the part with the line as you put it, that's simply there to seperte that oral cavity (the mouth) from the nasal cavity (the beak or nose). They don't move as suggested, they may appear to seperate in the soft palate due to infection and swelling but physically they can't move.
  7. Congratulations from all at Pigeon Tracker, its a worthy award and a good show for the future of the sport.

Not sure as we have a good number of girls driving for us, and three of them I know take their worse halves with them as co-drivers. You seem to have the hots for her. lol. ;D

My Daughter doesn't drive for us, in fact the only time she did drive was the day after her test where she promptly drove through a neighbours fence creating what he kindly said was an extra drive, they'd never insure her for love nor money. ;D It was a good show though and thanks for the kind words and support.

Read your p.m's Chris, I can always pull up the one where I said It would be great for you to come along but you had/have issues with the show. I'll leave it at that as I'm not interested in petty politics and sour grapes, mine's to provide a service and I'll stick to that. As for your sense of humour Chris, no disrespect but it might not be the type enjoyed by females, and not everyone is aquainted with the old school terms you refer to. This thread as supposed to be about how great the Aberdare show was yet its degenerated into petty bickering. A real shame as the show I'll say once again was excellent and pretty much enjoyed by everyone who went.

I found it refreshing that there was still so much interest from people who enjoyed what turned out to be an excellent show and the fact you enjoyed it Mighty Flyer means you got what you paid for and that to me is what matters. Take care.

Not 100% sure Jimmy but will be doing Blackpool, and if there are any others that are brought to my attention will no doubt look at them as and when. Have to say they're a great way to meet people.

As I said to Jimmy on many a chat, I don't see myself above going to my fellow fanciers, in fact I'm thoroughly enjoying it and meeting great people on the way. Thanks for the compliments, we're getting there.

They do have an overspill car park, perhaps next year the organisers will use that.

Hello Mighty Flyer, did you get a chance to get over to our stall? I know there was a lot of attention there and I did see one or two girls but went all shy and hid. :B ;D ;D
  17. I put that to them Jimmy, I made the point of telling them that forums are all about mixed personalities and in truth they only have to respond to posts they want to not what others want them to. As I said to Richard, this forum in my mind is the best out there and a lot can be made of it, I'll stick by that view.
  18. Was talking about this forum today at the Aberdare show with some breeders and also some sellers of ET systems and the like, many of them tell me they read a lot but won't post because some threads get trashed by bored and troublesome posters. I told them its part of the fun here and that you have to get past that where you'll find some good topical advice here.

Much appreciated, and the girls no doubt checked you out. ;D
  20. Dovescots' wife appears to be the business with Doves as a speciality and looking at her stock the other day I'd say she's one to take advice from. Can't remember her name here though so might be good to send him a p.m asking.

Lose, Sell or buy a bird from a fellow fancier and you never know, I'll make a point of sending one of them along to you. Seriously they're well pleased with the attention they got and yep, it was a brilliant show which gives for a bright future for us all as we're beating the credit crunch which can't be said by many.
  22. Ten out of Ten and made my night.

Some of them pretty girls were the drivers and others the phone girls, some of them could teach us a thing or two as many of the many fancier found out when speaking to them. ;D They did work a treat though as there's nothing better than a pretty face to brighten up the day and bring us some business at the same time.
  24. Judging by your garden you take pride in everything you do so it bodes well for you in your racing. The best of luck I wish you well.
  25. Do that Mark, its the right thing. We're all doing our level best to help but in truth none of us have a microscope and that's what is needed to clear your mind up with just what's going on. Hope everything goes fine and you post saying its simply worm or something less sinister than what it could be. Better safe than sorry.
