joe murphy had noting to do with pro last year can any scottish fanciers say they saw any difference myself i thought it was well covered in every department it is up to the fanciers to give information about there winning birds to who ever takes the job

allan saha wasnt the best buys he gets dizzey just standing on the turf i would say thats a missing link for david in transfer overall he has done a fantastic job with limited finance delighted i posted correct score 1-0 ;D ;D ;D

have had this problem asi i have open loft just get a couple of gallon cheap bleach put contents into rooser put round your feed bin and round loft after birds locked up for night they wont be there the following day when ever you see a slug do it wont harm birds cheap one pound forty pence

forget about who is best every fancier is only as good as the last race the most important issue is getting your own birds ready for the comming season ahead iam sure the fanciers that has been mentioned is only interested in next race or national to come a little bit of advice do the same get off your AR... and put that wee bit extra into getting your birds better you will get your just rewards every sport is the same you only get out of what is put in 8) 8) 8)

a good curtain acts the same as an oasis for a camel it gives the bird extra moisture for a drink but if the throat is not open the curtain wont do its job any curtain missing the birds had canker and leaves a weakness at longer events 8) 8)

dave 2 years with different mates is long enough to see if theres any potential there the sooner you have breeding birds that you can relay on and start floating the re eggs under some racers or spare good feeders or you will struggle breeding off anything means for sure you will be left very little do the same again the next season your back to square one for me find the birds you can relay on if the breeding is there certainly try them out but dont fill loft of rubbish remember once youve got a good breeding cock with a bull box you can try a lot of hens 8) 8)

yes frank i agree you wont loose a youngster when the racing is easy when ever they get it on there snoot froom approx 130 mls they drop like skittles its just by breeding off every bird in loft if the youngsters are no good off a pair one year you dont breed from that pair again and put a big question mark against sire and dam the following year with different mates after that if no good in bucket or race out you wont win nothing with a piece of paper called a pedigree i would rather have a fret mark knowing the bird is of sound breeding as the frets are only tempory the following year its a different pigeon the birds that has nothing up top and very quickely you will find them out birds that keep making mistakes is just costing fanciers time add expense i wouldnt condem a bird with a fret

i did not like birds that was fretted in fact i used to cull them . but last year andy higgins in our club had a bad fretted youngster in fact i told him to put it down but this youngster flew every race and it was a hard years racing but to top it off it won the last race 233mls food for thought

A HEALTHY BIRD SHOULD NOT STOP MOULTING IT MUST HAVE ENDURED SOME STRESS LEADING UP TO THE MOULT OR DURING MOULT I HAVE SEEN IT IF YOU LIKE THE BIRD GO VERY EASY AS I DONT THINK IT WILL BE MUCH USE THIS YEAR :-/ :-/ :-/
