West of Scotland Championship Club liberated a convoy of 680 pigeons today at Penrith at 11.15am into a light South wind. Good luck to all.

WSCC are holding a Sale of young birds on Thursday 27th April 7pm at the Barr Castle Social Club 14 Henrietta St, Galston KA4 8HQ. (viewing from 6.30pm) This sale is being held to help raise funds for the building of our new club premises in Hurlford, Ayrshire. We are fortunate in having both members and friends of WSCC donate pigeons from top racing lofts in Scotland. West of Scotland Championship Club This years 1st prize winner John Hadfield who won the £1,000 and the Robert McCubbin Memorial Trophy with the other prize winners in the 2016 Mullingar Derby race will be presented with their winnings at our Presentation & Moot evening to be held on Friday 28th October 2016. The event is in the No.0 Social Club, Main Street, Kilwinning, KA13 6AW. Tickets are £10 each. On that evening we have a top table panel of guests who will share their racing experiences with us, a sale of 2017 youngsters from top racing lofts and a light supper and raffle. After a meeting of the WSCC management team we have updated our wscc.online website with our 2017 race programme.

There are ten pigeons listed on the wscc online auction at present. A list will be on the WSCC website later today, it will be available from the DOWNLOADS page. Hope this helps.
