  4. Ah ok cheers.
  5. Is it a red grizzle by any chance? Dropped one Sunday evening I'd have to check but that number rings a bell :/
  6. About time that website was updated, it's a bit of a shambles tbh! All this info should be posted up on there, How can you expect people to keep up to date with things or info for new starts ect into the sport without an up to date website.
  7. I have an old Vax wet and dry works a treat!
  8. Cheers Andy
  9. That white cock in the pic mated up onto a red I just left them.. I've had a single red/white grizzle... The 2nd round was a jet black w/flight, the nest mate was black grizzle and last round, was a solid red with white spec on the head and nest mate black grizzle.. Hen must carry black.
  10. Yeah they are Delbar x Tournier. Cock in the pic is a yearling he had 12th fed as YB.
  11. This years youngsters
  12. One of my white Delbar x tournier cocks Fly pretty well too
  13. Was it in decent nic? I'm missing a Gb19 V bird but its a blue bar.
  14. Least it's not the bloody Percy harassing them for hours in the sky, watching them diving at break neck speed into the trees, ground or houses..Had 1 spar attack in autumn and managed to save my latebred. See the hen spar almost daily and blue tits and crows kronging giving the alarm then the birds are straight up high and once the hawk appears the doos follow it till it's moved off. Think it helps with a large flight.. They quickly get used to the alarm calls and what the alarms mean. With Percy it appears from nowhere no alarm no warning. Bain of my life!
  15. Its not doing me or my young birds any favours by shutting up and not getting at least some basket and racing experience. Not so bothered about old birds but for this seasons youngsters I'd settle for even a couple of races.
  16. Would like to see old and young birds raced together up to 150 miles, lib at the same time but results still to be slit into the usual youngbirds/old bird categories.

    Hawk

Yeah not good. I'm not letting my youngsters out till next month that way hen spar will be busy on the nest and the male will be doing most of the hunting. It'll give them a chance to get stronger on the wing.

    Hawk

Sparrowhawks dont really bother my birds much. Once they've seen it they usually get up high and are able to stay away from it or often follow it till it moves off.. Perigeines on the other hand are the bain of my life.. Least 2-3 days a week it's hitting them! Worse in summer with the young birds, when both male and female are hitting them together.
  19. Yeah I agree, I'm gonna fly something before I let my birds out.
  20. Happy Birthday guys!
  21. Cheers... Never too late as long as it's on the day
  22. Well I've not seen Percy for nearly a week now but today I've got a yearling cock missing from today's exercise and no sign of a kill, Shame, he was on two 1 week old youngsters. Same cock got caught by wing a few weeks ago by hen Percy but managed to get away with a few flights missing. Seems his luck has ran out.
  23. Mine had there's baths today too... Cracking day. Part from Mr Percy at my birds again, sent 5 of my hens crashing into the trees. All back safe at least.
  24. Oh yeah and to make matters worse 15-20 mins after Persy left, 2 female sparrowhawks appeared driving and chasing each other all over the sky. Wtf! What next. Birds can't enjoy there freedom and I can't relax and enjoy seeing them out at the moment!
