Got my first Bedhamton doo the day! It got as far as Beith Ayrshire 370 miles where he was cared for by Jim shepherd for a couple days until he got his strength back and released this morning to return at dinner time in Great condition. Thank you very much Jim. I now have 1 from 3 sent.

Your right there,very lucky to have club mates like I've got. I'm also lucky as I race in a very strong club and even though it's competitive the lads will still give me advice. I was struggling at start of season and after a bit of advice from a few club members and a change of feed I'm back on track. Anyway best of luck for the national everyone. Cheers lads. Aye our fed has only been at the 200miles stage so bit of a jump. Shouldn't be a problem tho I've seen lads having to jump youngsters about the same to get them away to the young bird national and clocking them. All the best lads

I've tried 3 times previously but never managed, I'm guessing it's due to the birds heading In all directions when they hit Scotland and they've been dragged about a bit, as I've managed Hastings /Battle on the day(490) a few times. Fingers crossed for a good race and hopefully one of the lads on here get a winner.
