Sorry Jim your wrong, its not one man who is stopping members using club,the decision was made by a committee of 8 members who agreed unanimously not to use club due to the fact the club hut is 25 yards from a shelter housing complex, this decision was taken at the time with the old folks health given priorty.

On behalf of the accused who doesn't use social media I would like to clarify a few points regarding the Jim Cameron post. Yes the accused did go to JIms door, reason being to hand in a letter requesting a delegates meeting. Yes a robust discussion took place regarding the racing situation in Lanarkshire. Yes opinions were exchanged by both sides before agreeing to disagree. At no time were voiced raised by any party. At no point were Jim or his family abused. The parties involved parted on friendly terms, These are the facts of the matter as verified this morning during a phone call from the accused to jim.

SHU race rule 17 states “ The federation and societies must insert on race sheets the colour, prefix letter and outside number of rubber ring “.

Think race rubbers still need to be entered on race sheets and allocated a basket number in case there is any escapes from baskets after leaving club.

If it’s pointless putting updated rules on website then you must agree it’s equally pointless to have outdated rules that are older than “ Noah Ark “ on it , it looks like most people don’t have a up to date rule book, if this is the case then surely they would expect the most recent update to the rules to be online. If this was done it would avoid a lot of confusion caused by members referring to different versions of book.
