bigda i was top of the class at most things ,i sat 5 o, levels i had 3 A passes (woodwork, technical drawing and arithmetic) and two fails , (english and maths as they were all day exams and i went home at dinner time to fly my pigeons and told my mum and dad that the exam's were over automatic fail.)call me clever clogs if you wish .

ive always said horses for coarses, my pal john callan from lesmahagow won the west section out of rennes and 25th open in a very fast race , i got a dtr of it and when this bird went to a race in a tail wind she won loads a dosh, in fact she would have topped the fed a few times if she would have trapped .in a head wind she was nowhere

am waitin to see if they pop oot o her dress.lol

that last post owen is perfect mate, most if they get them for nowt will race them till they drop , but if they spend £100-£200 on a bird they wont race, the youngsters race very lightly and all through their lifes the birds wont go because thats off my such and such birds , your freebie will go no matter what. a guy in my club did the same , i gave him birds out of my stock birds , the words he said as he left , i think i will go and kill everthing ive got after seeing what you have , never did thank god , i gave him a full brother to my national winner, and one off a pair of w.kinner & son edinburgh birds

WALTER I CLOCK ONE MAYBE TWO PIGEONS most weeks as the secretary's have enough work , we have the first 4 in our club after that it is individual birds , i clocked in three from six at maidstone this year and took 1st 2nd 3rd , could have clocked another 2 to be 4th and 5th but chose not to as there were no other birds timed in club or the next club to me on the day.Its a sport and the last thing you want to do is rub other fanciers noses in it. clubs could make it the first 4 or first 6 after that individual birds and that would be the fairest way.

WELL ONE THING I CAN SAY IT WAS MENTIONED THAT HE WOULDNT HOLD IT AGAINST THE CLUB IF HE GOT REFUSED .WHICH WAS VERY GENTLEMANLY OF HIM.

WHY would he want to join in the firts place ,knowing that he would not be accepted , for a pulicity stunt just like this MAYBE ? who knows .

no mate i dont know the guy , i was answering a post saying the only difference between the two nats was one is open to all , when actual fact is they are only open if the members let certain men in. the gutty hen was the first one i though would not be allowed back in the snfc thats all .

SO IF THE GUTTY HEN TRIED T JOIN THE SNFC IN THE FUTURE YOUS WOULD LET HIM IN?

yes it is but EVERYONE has to be veted .and it was not right for the club to let in( certain) individuals. AS WITH EVERYCLUB. A letter was read out and was discussed and he was rejected. SORRY THATS ALL I CAN SAY.
