-
i dont really care mate , i dont mean to offend anyone ,its just one of my many sayings thats all.
-
well i cant be a bad judge check out post no 20 , i said about steven fletcher and ross maccormack(in holland match) and who scored the two goals against (farmfoods) sorry iceland and macormack was man of match , i can usually do the same with picking out pigeons lol
-
spot on bigda ive sorted it.

listen they were already members of the rpra before they (were suspended), and yes henrick i have only heard one side of the story , but i can assure you i will strive to find out if what you have said is the truth.ps that meeting you talk about sounds like the shu agm in glasgow i had attended when the audit commitee was passed, they also closed the meeting like that (meeting closed and offski like a jews fore skin.) cheers stuart

chaz i have one or two from each of my stoack birds put by i mean the bee's knees the best one i have ever had off them so they will take their place when they stop laying or fertilising the eggs , i usually pair these pigeons to my best racers so that there mate is always waiting when they get home. im not that silly mate. and albear you were luck when you went to maasi's ,i went years ago when they first advertised older stock for sale ,three of us went down from scotland nearly 5hours including stop off for breaky, and seen nearly 200 birds for sale in that wee room , i asked who was in charge and told them under no uncertain terms that i had drove all that way and not ONE OF THAT $HITE WOULD GET A PERCH IN MY LOFT to which he sent me over the car park to another building to speak to michael mass, and told him off so to speak about the quality, he sent one of his messingers up to the lofts and brought a basket of jan Aardens to the side gate for me to get the pick of and these were the business , ALL BECAUSE I COMPLAINED and all the numpties in that wee room were buying them as if they were going out of fashion ,ps they never bred a pigeon to score even a minor prize ticket,

i think it was brian massey that lost some birds .

im going by what ive been told by lots and i mean lots of fanciers through that way not just one or two , so do you agree with the suspensions henrick ?
-
thanx djw i was going to say the same thing .

i was out last night with my wife as its our anniversary today (23 yrs) and never seen the thread about suspended members, i would like to post THE FACTS. THE suspended members you are talking about are p.virtue,r.nisbet etc from east of scotland fed , FIRSTLY the fed had a meeting and decided to leave the SHU. the body of the hall instructed the secy to letter the secy of SHU to tell her that they do not recognise the shu as there gov /body . they were joining the rpra and had done so. (they were members of the rpra) the SHU asked the officials to come to a meeting with the SHU , to which the fed had another meeting and the body of the hall told the officials not to go as they had already told them that they no longer recognise them as gov/body (so they didni go) ,BECAUSE THEY DID NOT GO TO THIS FIRST MEETING THE SHU SUSPENDED THEM FROM RACING PIGEONS,( im quite sure that they would have had to be told that failure to come to said meeting this would happen ,BUT THEY WERE NOT) due to the political nature of the suspention the rpra kept out of it as the members in question were indeed already members of the rpra . they tried to suspend me when i left the shu fed (renfrewshire) to join glasgow they tried to debt suspend me saying i had left the fed after the agm, but our club agm was after fed one ,and that is were you resign your club,ps i was not at the fed agm .

well mate i would slightly disagree with you ,just because its a good racer doesnt meen that it will breed the goods , i have multi winners in my loft and have had plenty in the past and dont and have never bred from them ,and if i have its one or two to try them if the do alright then i will try more, i pick out my stock pigeons by hand and eye ,if they are what im looking for and bred right then in they go and give them a go , even so i only breed between 2 and 4 off my stock birds each year as i dont keep many youngsters.
-
i will only buy an older bird at a clearance sale that has bred the goods ,apart from that i will buy youngbirds only .
-
not a hope in hell wee cunny and none off them either.THERE ALL FOR ME .AND OF COURSE ONE OR TWO FOR SALES.
-
the bigger transporter in the bhw belongs to south lanarkshire ,but the snrpc has the use/hire/loan of it from s/lanarkshire fed , one belongs to glasgow fed same again the snrpc has the use of this as well and the other one belongs to gordon geddes and again the snrpc has the use of this one as well .ALL are geraldy fitted transporters and martin (aye ready) you WILL be a member mate. SORRY forgot to mention my wee pal mathew boyle he is the convoyer , HE IS THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS, he looks after our birds brilliantly.
-
i dont care how old the birds are as long as they breed the goods ,i have at stock just now 8 pairs ,i have cocks 2 x 13 year olds, a 12 yr old ,a 10yr old,2 x 7yr olds,a 5 yr old, and a 3yr old-----hens i have a 13yr old , a 10 yr old, a 9yr old, 2 x 7yr olds, a 5 yr old ,a 3 yr old and a yearling , so will i not breed any winners this year ?
-
well when my birds are due home i alway's amd im mean always need the lavy (toilet) and im usually sitting on the throne when my first bird arrives .i was thinking about putting in a toilet in my loft lol
-
i think with the amount of youngsters they sell there is bound to be some winners among them. But percentage wise i would love to know how many sold to how many actually win or breed winners. very low i would guess

used to play a lot when i was younger my pal kenny mckechnie went pro and still is a pro over in germany. my other pal and my brother play of 12/14 resectively but there crap i beat them easily , now i play once in a blue moon, if i didnt start to fly pigeons i might have played golf for a living.if only i could turn the clock back
-
sorry bigda i couldnt comment on something i know nothing about and would be very unfair on th ones on th commitee, the only one thing i would ask is , if you get one new transporter WHO OR WHAT CLUB'S GET TO USE IT FIRST , IF YOU NEED 3 transporters then 2/3rds of the fed would still be in old style baskets for maybe 4/5 races maybe more until you can send just one transporter down the road.
-
who is ian ?my name is stuart.NOT STU as some call me.
-
jimmy i can tell you that the egg is fertilized the day before laying FACT. If you send all your cocks on a friday night to a race and the hens have all laid one egg on the friday and its a hold over, you mark the first egg, THE SECOND EGG WILL BE CLEAR/NOT FERTILIZED. try it and you will see .
