well mate sometimes thats all it can take is a change of loft to put them off ,sometimes a change of loft will put a spark into them , but who's decision was it to wait for five rounds , the buyer or the seller,i know if it was me i would try as many rounds as i could just to see , like trimming his under feathers and his tail, same with the hen , then maybe try effamol tablets you name i would try different things then if he still didnt fertilise an egg, i would contact the seller for possible refund or swap for another equally well bred bird. You cant blame the seller for a bird not fertilising an egg ,even if he said before hand it was fertile .
-
alan many many times i have seen in the pigeon papers old pigeons guaranteed fertile and think to my self no one can guarantee that, from one nest to the next they could just stop and not fill another egg again, i say if you do buy an old bird you are taking a BIG CHANCE . I have a yearling that keeps laying soft /rubbery eggs thats 3 rounds now ,i know the guy i bought from would replace it but will wait and see if it sorts itself out , i wont just jump up and down and complain that his birds are $hite ,as i know these things can happen its not the vendors fault .
-
just an outside view on this so called (11 yr old) not filling eggs i have had birds who fill every egg even 12 -16 yr olds , but they can just stop for no apparent reason even 5yr olds can do this, as far as i can see , timbarra sold an 11 yr old pigeon and the buyer never got a youngbird out of it and timbarra gave the guy his money back i would'nt say he was untrustworthy. HE COULD HAVE SAID TOUGH LUCK YOU PAY YOUR MONEY AND TAKE YOUR CHANCE.

Excuse me bigda cant you read it states from john (jock3) he was trying to get THREE FEDS TOGETHER- NO1 CENTRAL FED-- NO 2 ALMOND VALLEY -- NO3 WEST LOTHIAN , NO MENTION OF ANY OTHER FEDS BE IT SHU FEDS OR RPRA FEDS , this to me is a brilliant idea ,and as any miller stated ALMOND VALLEY was a breakaway fed mostly from central, you should start to take your medication on a regular basis or you WILL end up in the funny house .

bred in the purple , would be worth a lot more than £40 more like £400
-
when hell freezes over springs to mind bigda ,and yes the outskirts of glasgow would be in the 20 mile radius, but i would be at least 40 miles away which would mean i would be out side that 20 mile, any way we are alright, and are ALL VERY HAPPY with what we are doing, so as i have said before let it be as its very very boring .

fair enough mate just if feds are racing that day you would'nt get any of them there to your sale , but good luck i hope it goes well. ALL clubs and feds need sales to try and keep afloat.
-
bigda WHY HAVE YOU GOT TO SPOIL IT jock 3 came out with a great idea about three feds next to each other or in his words with 20 radius , getting together to make one big fed , then you spout your rubbish , please give it a by and leave US ALONE and you get on with trying to win sprint races thanx
