Doesnt look good for Saturday either George .and we've had terrible racing from there .and the Fed voted to stay away from that area .so moving to there wouldn't happen .

Wasn't rocket science Andrew .imagine letting go 2000 birds and they hit a plane and bring it down .they would be shouting to ban racing expletive remove .and or mass liberations .never mind the caos the youngsters would endure .then it would be the controllers fault .so made my mind up last night and made calls today to President and Secretary .they were 100% behind this .

Racing has been put back till Sunday due to the air show at east fortune .

Had a wee look at my returnees first one over the pad well Percy has had a go at her .the other two are A1.

All home 3\3 last one at 8 :10 .happy enough with that .just need better prepared for next time.

Don’t get too carried away . Had 3 tosses first two from 4/5 miles all home in Jig time , third toss 9/10 miles let 28 go at 2-25 pm at dark I had 18/28 .3 we’re sitting waiting to get in at 6 am , ended up come by all day ended up with 26/28 but it was a struggle .

Congrats to each and every one timing from this race .some fantastic pigeons still going about .

Great story behind this .the bird was a gift from wullie Mitchell lesmahagow .who was 2\4 open snrpc .bird landed at its old loft had a drink then wullie chased it off .phoned jonesy to tell him his only entry was on its way ..what a feeling knowing yer doo was less than an hour away .well done pal.

I see that the club has decided to drop the birdage / basket to15th birds due to the very high temps expected this weekend .well done just wish it would be the same for all longer races in feds too .

They remember where they get food .simple .
