If you get an e-mail along the lines of 'Osama Bin Laden Captured' or 'Osama Hanged' , don't open the Attachment!!!! This e-mail is being distributed through countries around the globe, but mainly in the US and Israel Be considerate & send this warning to whomever you know.. PLEASE FORWARD THIS WARNING AMONG FRIENDS, FAMILY AND CONTACTS: 2.) You should be alert during the next few days: Do not open any message with an attached file called 'Invitation' regardless of who sent it. It is a virus that opens an Olympic Torch which 'burns' the whole hard disc C of your computer!!!! This virus will be received from someone who has your e-mail address in his/her contact list, that is why you should send this E-mail to all your contacts. I set off with 32 cracking young birds ,exercising out of their skins next thing two or three through the loft door none anywhere to be seenin the sky.I had 13 back on the night when I locked up,ended up with 22 + 2 i had to collect,one more brough to me by another fancier that later died.They were never right after that,got one race out of them I have 10 left couldn't continue to race because I couldn't afford to loose any more.

I beleive Aldi do a good one now and then.There are two that they do,I think there's one about £40 that's the better of the two , the others about £30.If you do a search the Aldi one's are mentioned somewhere. Lindsay

Blackdog brought me a full one up the other night,said it was the only way to keep you off it.

When I was a boy(a lot of years ago) a couple of fanciers I knew made cakes up for their birds one was a fighting cock loaf,recipe somewhere in the house the other was a mixture of maize, green ,peas ,seeds etc put through a blender cooked and made up like a biscuit I think they use to dry it out with arrowroot ?. That's as far as that one goes.If I can find the fighting cock recipe i'll put it on the site ,or maybe then again,pm it to you.No promises though i've got to find it. Lindsay

Noticed this at my mates loft a couple of week ago,remove the bob wires and cut about 3mm off one side where the main support bar goes through, then reassemble. Lindsay

If I was to put up a new loft and had the choice of which way it would face I would always go for South East.Gets the sun most of the day and very little rain comes from that direction.Luckily two of my three lofts face S.E. the other one S.W. If I'm going anywhere for the day and the weathers suspect I close the loft door facing S.W. Lindsay. click picture to enlarge.
