I was assuming that the rings were then intended ones mentioned in the first post,ie. life/ets.

So basically what you are saying,if they had been life/ets rings that's 10,000 lost at the extra cost.

Put a drop of super glue on mate when you first fit them.

Sorry mate I don't agree,ETS rings as they are can be used again should need be.I've used some that I have taken off injured/retired birds.Never had one come back with its ETS ring missing.

Sent 22 to Leyland 79 mile + a yard or two.Lib 08:00 no wind,Lt SW at home end.Got fist bird at 09:30:24 had 13 before 33. another at 35 again at 40 and one at 50,two while doing clocks,couple of minutes off the mark but happy.
