Well 24 away to Ypres.. last Fed race for the Macaloney family at the janefield address.. end of an era... Place has been good to us over the last 3 decades. be strange to race to a different location but looking foward to it.. ATB to everyone thats away.. ..

Its hard one to take mate... our team has been ruined...but lets hope fo the sake of the Ybs birds and the future of this sport surely we can all pull together and do whats right... for us pigeons isnt just a hobby .. its a way of life 365 days a year.. and has been bred into us for generations.. it tough to take when its out of ur hands... I agree something must be done across the board to insure the survival of our sport..

We've always stayed out it del and went where the fed wanted to go and try win and do our best regardless... but this year has been the worst in our history.. everyones intitled to their opinions and say.... but we can only judge what happin in our back garden.. left scratchin our heads at times this year... I can honestly say that my ybs will not be going down this route.. too much time and effort goes into them to throw them away...

Frank now im not wantin to sound big headed or blowin our own trumpet... we're capable of gettin a batch too the front results prove this...we had 9 fed winners out our 22 out yesterday and none are home... now between the 3 of us wee roughly know when we've got them spot...like most fanciers. ..so im convinced we've took a massive hit as well as moat of the fed.. Solway up an hour after us...timing in 2 hours before us...hawks are on the ground on our doos

Well if we're gonna move ...move as ybs... that surely that makes sense.. long term I have my fears...

Also ur spot on with the trauma and stress these birds are goin through on a weekly bases.. we've seen right good racers go down due to it.. multiple winners that can only handle so much and pack in... wont even come out the loft..

Agreed frank we know were the most populated areas are and still choose to go through them.. I believe the doos are gettin hit from the word go and numerous times coming up the road... I dont have all the answers only facts.. and im not sayin east routes have no hawks..but dam sight better racing and returns that what we are getting delt down this route.. can I ask what was wrong with Maidstone? ? Nat or no national was always a decent race point

2/22..... timed the hen that was 2nd west sec ypres last year!! Shattereded.. worst race in our 60years history of racing pigeons.. we had these 22 in tip top condition... absolutely sick is an understatement... think people really need to sit down and have a look at race points..and decisions the are making for the future of this sport and welfare of the pigeons!!

Usual tam ... just finished workin on the hens.. lol

Had a few short ones seem to be goin well... early days but lol
