Just an open result on top of what we have tam... in the last 14year the average birdage of the fed is roughly 5000.. giv or take. 45 prizes....that means u need to be in the 0.9% to get on the result

Aye maybe mate... it keeps everyone happy... but its not a true result at the same time.. I have 15years worth of Fed results infront of me .. and most times the winners of each sec velocities are not that far apart.. then u get a race that ud think they had been at different races

Fair point tommy... but if I have a doo 16th sec and its a head of 10 doos on another sec But dosnt make the result. I would be annoyed...Think anyone would be.. For years there was talk that we got the drop of the doos.. When in fact 9/10 on a sat we would fone ...A.eadie..or Alec Blyth. .and they would just hav timed in ... secs later we would get our first doo... which rules that right out the equation.... For me the wind will always determine what way the doos come into the Fed mate.

Haha...aye right... No but seriously some weeks there are guys say 16th in east sec..not makin the result..but they're ahead of half the other sections.. Dosnt make sense to me.. Hard enough to get on the result to start with Whos location?

Got to agree Tam op 40 positions and no section prizes is the only way to have a true full result... Its speed..distance ..time.... Top 40 velocities..I.e the fastest 40 birds in the race should be ur Fed card prize winners.

This is the first that ive really had time too look at the proposal...and to be honest the change didn't even look that major... if anything in the future this is gonna have to happen at some point.. so I would have been in favour of the boundary change.. of course no matter where the boundary goes there will always be people on the outskirts of it...thats just the way it is...it has to stop somewhere.. but I personally was looking forward to having as much new blood in the Fed as possible.... at the end of the day any sport thrives on competition.... the Fed has come on leaps and bounds in recent years, in my eyes anyway, with transporters..Fed presentations.. txt service..website.. healthy accounts.. healthy membership... maybe in time to come people will change their opinions.. but thats why we have AGMs ... everyone is intitiled to their say

I say hardy is geniuine fancier and is sending over the best he can to compete and promote his bloodlines in the UK and to justify my claim here are just a few facts.. 1. Premier stud have had over a 100 winners reported back to them this year bred from their direct imports ( you are more than welcome to contact them to verify this) 2. Les Green took 1, 2, 3 & 4 combine with 4 ybs all containing kruger blood and has had dozens of winners reported to him from his 2012 imports. ( again more than welcome to call him to verify) 3 we raced Krugers in only 3 races as we are tryin to establish a new team at Glenmavis.. Andy Eadie started racing 10 krugers from premier stud and Tommy Richardson raced 6 purchased from the same source all are GB14P rung ( check the Fed results.) Between the 3 of us we have taken the following fed positions with pure krugers in one of the toughest yb seasons ever... 2 Fed 5776b 3 Fed 5330b 5 Fed 5776b 6 Fed 1263b 7 Fed 1908b 12 Fed 3845b 19 Fed 1908b 20 Fed 3845b 23 Fed 1908b 26 Fed 5330b 26 Fed 1908b 28 Fed 3775b 29 Fed 2378b 31 Fed 5330b Plus 15 sec prizes averaging 1200b NOT THE PERFORMANCES OF SECOND RATE BIRDS 4. If hardy was only selecting inferior birds for the UK market then why would we have in our stock loft direct children of black power..black pearl..bailey..bacardy..black sky..orlando..hugo boss..da vinci..nelly ..catwoman Letizia all the top producers in hardys loft 5. There are a few Scottish fanciers that have been in hardys company and to my knowledge not one person has been left with the opinion that hardy is in the sport for the money...as he is first and foremost a racing loft trying to develop the best one day racers possible. 6. On a recent trip to Germany hardy picked up the bill for our and Ian Cameron accommodation, food.drink and then presented my dad with a direct son of black pearl as a gift.. a bird he could have easily sold on the market for £4000 ( welcome to call ian cameron) As far as im concerned I no longer need to justify the quality of the birds and the integrity of the fancier..so the viewing public can make up there own mind... Found Hardy to be an absolute gent.... totally trust worthy and his birds have been an instant hit for us... so if uv not dealt with the guy or even spoke to him personally. ..then maybe ur opinions of him should be better kept to yourself..

Im the same del.... i can respect peoples intrests or goals...I want to win wether it be from the chippy down the road to across the channel...lol For me its about one day racing.. and actually clockin the first bird home from a convoy... Guys that top a race early on...will say they ment it.. Same guys will be nowhere and say oh im distance minded... As the old boy would say " why did they get a clock set then"

Overall think the race programme looks good... course things can always be improved.. but I think with 400 members ur never going to keep everyone happy... and I think John and his committee have brought.the Fed on leaps and bounds in the last few years.. I wouldnt take his job if my life depended on it... coz ur surrounded with passionate guys that all want what they think is best for moving foward. I Really think with the numbers we have we should be leading the way in the sport and bringin it in to the next generation... Website. Done. Transportation. Done. Presentation nights. Done. Txt libline. Done. Fund sales. Done. Scribe ( Tom Corrie PR) Done. We can do more. Be that false libs ( legal ones). Pools across the Fed. ( nothing better than a lift..2nd best to winning) For me its an exciting time for Lanarkshire Fed. Membership is up. ( could look at gettin more I.e Derek Hay) Quality of fanciers are getting better. ( my opinion) Few younger guys starting to show what they can do. Looking foward to 2015. Atb.
