  1. well done derek
  2. was taking a stray up to the national marking to be picked up and watched the guys filling the small plastic drinkers on the baskets within 10 mins the drinkers were full of shavings with the birds unable to drink from them was glad i had not sent any snfc need to do something in another basket one dominant cock stood at the drinker and would not let any birds drink we have to come up with a better idea than this they can go without food but water is a must
  3. well done guys

  9. i know what your saying wiley and with good pigeons i think you can feed almost anything and win with them as has been proven many times knew a man that fed his birds crushed dog biscuits and won well on it and yet others feed on the best money can buy and do nothing with them good pigeons and good fanciers win races on almost any decent feed i think we lose the plot a bit when guys come out with all these fads its deff not helpful to someone trying to learn the pigeon game but thats the doo game pal atb to you
  10. ask the guys that are feeding cheese and other crap what they win as with all feeding fads we tend to lose the plot or grasp at straws if your birds are not good enough it matters not what you feed them
  11. Happy Birthday Seona have a great day
  12. been clear as a bell here all day and not a feather four cocks missing all flown the channel yearlings and latebreds all home go figure
  13. but if its a strong west wind would you lib with the east section birds if you did not have to and make it even harder for your birds to break is my point and i sit in the middle so no wind is easy i win more than my fare share of east wind races so i have no complaint about the east wind
  14. its been the same since pigeon racing began pigeons just dont like east winds and many cant handle it the losses would have been much worse if we had been racing the middle route i just cant get my head around why my own fed libbed at the same time as one of the farthest westerly flying clubs in the country in an east wind mental imo an east wind is a tail wind to these birds and with the wind already pushing our birds over to the west many birds will choose to follow these birds instead of turning to face it maybe there was a reason for it i dont know but i hope to fined out on tuesday night at our fed meeting ps many birds will not home now till the wind turns back to the west and will be flown out
  15. well done davie
