get my yb over to training van then to the doc to hand in urine sample and get blood samples taken then to the bank to pay in my clermont money and hopefully back intime to see yb come back from training then later on get my birds ready for national marking thats the plan anyway hope to see some members there tonight have a bit of banter hope its not as hot that f k g greenhouse kills me neaver mind the doos hats off to the poor guys that do the marking and carrying in that heat ps hide the diesel cans please lol good luck to all have a good day

be better if they score well in for me i have to find them out they have been winning from otterburn to ypres 450 miles but can they do 520 miles only one way to find out they have won 1600 pounds fed and national with 15 national tickets in three races so there deff good birds but 520 miles will tell me if they can do it all fingers crossed and good luck to everyone

yes john im having a go sending 17 birds fancy 3 cheq hens 2nd bird newberry 2nd bird ypres and a hen that was 11 sect salsbrough that came at 10 20 in ypres all on there first youngster 3 to 5 days old but could time anyone of them all in great order and sitting right and i want to find out if they can do 500 miles into the west so hears hoping all the best to all that send looking forward to it

i give my birds half a flagyl with no problems yb to the first year i got them i went to my chemist and asked what they were for he said they were for urine infections not thrush all antibiotics cause thrush they do not cure it you must treat for thush after any antibiotic and give mutivits natural yougurt can be used for the thush on the feed or two large tbl spoons in the drinker on the feed works faster but a bit messy and anyone who vacinates heathy birds twice in weeks is wasting there time and money one dose protects the bird for 12 months you do not get any more protection bye jagging them twice the people who started this fad were trying to cure birds that allready had it but it does not work if they have parra or adenovirus it has to run its course all you can do is treat for secondary infections of which thrush or fungal is first to attack then canker and cocci as i explained in a previos post on vacination and again the cure is we must all jag every bird in the loft at the same time no jagging while training or racing this is why it flairs up at this time every year fanciers jag then put them in training van or race baskets before the 14 day from vacination date is up and during this time the adenovirus is coming through the birds dropings any infecting the birds allready jagged and clear and so the cycle starts again and keeps going as long as people vacinate at different times and dont keep them away from other peoples birds for 14 days you will keep getting it sorry i went a bit off track but it pisses me off because the cure is stareing us in the face we must all jag together the way we use to and end ybs for good

think this depends on the family of birds you have ive been lucky in the birds i have win as yb yrl and old birds for example my mealy hen first race as a yb was consett a comeback race over 100 odd miles 8 tosses her and her nestmate 1st club 1st west sect 4 th open allmost 4000 birds north west wind her nestmate was 2nd club 3rd sect 8th open samerace as yrl wanted yb off her so only gave her first 4 races she was 2nd club in the 4th race and scored in fed 160 miles stoped her as 2 yr old 3 races set up for salsburgh 330 miles 1st club 1st sect 12 open fed this year newberry 2nd club 27th sect national then sent to maidstone 4th club beaten bye 3 loft mates but scored 101 sect maidstone and won over 1300 pounds and ive another 3 allmost as good won as yb yrl and old bird so think the family has a lot to do with it but seems if mine are good as yb there good all there life if there good there good imo

i had 11 birds injured in leicester the race controller did not injure them they were attacked and got away or dived into trees for cover and were injured imo

id settle for any one of them well in but fancy a wee cheq hen keen as mustard and tight as a drum but supple to bring it on prob get f k d not be the first or last time thats happend when i fancy them kiss of death lol such is this great sport of ours

mr blyth if you take your head out mr macs ass for five mins maybe you would not make silly comments on other peoples birds you know f k all about the birds i was setting up for ypres had only had two races ypres was there third the birds needed work which because of illness i could not give them thats why i only got 7 out of 12 home and only 2 on the result where with newberry i had 6 on the result and maidstone 7 on the result with better returns in both you race yours and il race mine lol and id be happy to be 3rd to the macs there pros and the best in britain imo and they dont make comments on people or there birds that they know nothing about well done the macs
