might not be mick and he has been paired in dec every year since i got him and his half brother and the loft is heated m8 but he will stop filling them some day but ive plenty good inbred sons off him that breed winners so not to botherd all the other old cocks eggs are full and this way works for me mick

i dont have any secrets rab and try to give an honest ans when im asked m8 and yes my stuff kills anything that i cant see but id like to put another myth to bed and that is pigeons laying in 8 days think ive had 2 or 3 in 50 years my birds take 12 to 14 days from parring to a new m8 and some even longer guys that come out with this mine are all down in 8 days p h are trying to give you the impresion there birds must be in better condition than yours as a young man i thought there must be something wrong with my birds because they were not down in 8 days but and that was me making sure they were the right weight before pairing it did not take me long to find out whos birds were in the best condition when the racing started

a few reasons for me jam one is i only breed of my proven stock birds and an odd pair of my best racers so want as many as i can from them 2 early bred youngsters have longer to get used to the loft and surrounding area before training and can have the benifit of training with my old birds if i want and have longer to get much more training into them before yb racing starts and 3 the most important to me i want to vacinate old and young at the same time last week in march and no jagging for the rest of the season thats my reasons m8

the mild weather has been a great help to my early breeding program only a few pair of the stock birds still to lay only downer so far think ive got my first pair of empty eggs off my 17yr old son of debarcelona paired to my 11th open clermont wanted a pair off them for the stock loft will be sitting 4 days tomorrow so il check again as there under feeders il give him one more chance with her before i split her till end of march allways the ones you want eh

its true andy can remember as a young man trying to get info from john feenie it was like pulling teeth but the guy who won a race every ten year wants to tell you how it should be done even though your beating him most weeks lots of guys can talk a good pigeon not many can fly one imo
