  4. i wish john the past 5 years ive been working latebreds i been getting hit every second or third toss and thats only from 12 and 20 miles m8 its been years since ive had 7 tosses without getting hit and i know for fact there is a few helping our cause
  5. my thoughts to pat but that was the last toss today and another good one so someone is making a difference maybe the penny has dropped at last its the guys that are being hit at there lofts that hold the key to solveing the problem if they have birds locked out everyday they will sort it locking your birds up for the winter helps no one because as soon as you let them out in the spring there back to torment you so well done guys you know who you are keep it up ps thats ten tosses 3 from 12 miles 7 from 20 miles so that will do them till feb when im ready to get them them going again and we will see how they go

  8. natural yogurt on your feed will do the job m8 you can also put it in your drinker one large tablespoon per drinker for a week will kill most yeast and fungal infections apart from canker treatment thats what i gave mine there now flying one to two hours everyday which tells me there just fine
  9. happy birthday john sounds like you had a great night m8
  10. morning guys
  11. morning guys
  12. there is no treatment for parramixo dan dont know if they give you anything for other things in fact did not know they get involved with anything other than parramixo they also told me they would not tell me if they found it was anything else as they only test for parramixio nothing else anything i learned was from trial an error defra were no help whatsoever and told me i had two choices kill them all and start again or lock the birds up for sixty days and let it run its course and keep whats left of course they were all very nice about it but no advice or help i tried to treat my birds and think that was the reason 90 percent of my birds survived and stopped it spreading to my old bird lofts
  13. thats a new word for them joe lol
  14. no they dont dan they give you no treatments and are only interested in making sure your birds are locked up for 60 days and no one visits your loft to spread it to poultry the only thing they will give is stuff to dip your boots in as you come and go thats all i was offered the only choice they give you is kill them or let it run its course while isolated and see what survives
  15. morning guys looking good for training again today once the mist lifts a bit
  16. we had another great wee toss from coalburn again this morning 30 mins i think someone up that way is helping the cause well done m8

  19. im blaming craigs writing for that jim or i could not make it out but ive got an excuse im blind lol main thing is he got it so no harm done charlie good night again m8 and well done to all the ticket winners
  20. some of them were george as i breed some every year now well worth it if your prepaired to put a bit of time into them
  21. and chuffed for jim his first ever competion with pigeons and he got a ticket in the younghen class he is like a dog with two tails brilliant hes hooked the look on his face said it all says he is sticking it on the front window only problem its his mrs pigeon she calls it flash he says he will never hear the end of it lol great stuff
  22. lol no tam it was to make up for the birds i killed with sickness m8 24 that had been stopped after 5 races but i lose my share same as the rest and maybe more than most because im a hard trainer and its a good way to replenish your team for whatever the reason and there bred off your best birds that have won that year and it gives me something to do in the winter months so lots of reasons for breeding latebreds getting them to win is the hard part
  23. well we got a good wee toss all home 25 mins jim said so very happy how its going see what the weathers like thurs frid supposed to be a storm blowing into the west at weekend so play it by ear no need to take silly chances
  24. very sorry to hear this stuart was hopeing to get a blether with you tonight at the show condolences to you and your family m8
  25. jim and i had a great toss yesterday from coalburn about 20 miles im working in the area today so ill get them up in my van as forcast for weekend not good and we will not get it much better than this this will be our 7th or 8th toss been bumped twice but almost all worked there way home so good education for them as i know im pushing them a bit training them so soon after them being sick and some are still a bit young but they have to go or they are no good to me and its only a half hour fly at most so so far so good another few and they can sit till feb till i start them again at 12 miles but they will be out everyday all winter roming the countryside
