A big thank you must go out to John Pryde of gorebridge he went down to NE England on Sunday and picked up birds from all over brought them back home he contacted a few financiers who just wanted them chucked up I picked up 39 birds from John on Monday night and put them in the stray centre. This man took the time to go and collect these birds at his expence. If you had these birds reported it would have cost you £40+ to get them back. Thanks John you know that they don't understand the time and effort that goes into running a stray centre. The fact that they even suggest the removal of ETS rings by the stray officer is a joke. The only way that I would remove an ETS RING Is if the bird didn't survive and I also remove its life ring tie both of them together with a piece of string And give it to the person picking up the birds for the Federation's to give to the owners. I do the job to the best of my ability and it is for the love of the pigeons that I do it and not for financial reward I could earn more in 1 weekend at my own job than the 21+ hours that I spend at the stray centre each week for 8 weeks of the young bird season.SHU Stray Officer

Handed into stray centre GB16Z61123 reported to RPRA registered to Massarella but has unicon ETS Ring on anybody recognize it picked up in Hawick. Don't know if owner knows that the bird is not transferred. If this is one from a kit of 6 or 10 all of them may not be transferred and if they win a race they could be disqualified if verified.
