Our clubs got 11 OAPS that probably will be needing there *expletive removed* wiped soon enough and as I've said not one on the internet and 6 no even got a mobile phone another 3 can't even open a text message I've had 8 members handing in raffle books since yesterday and 7 have had no balance sheet and one got his 3 days before the AGM I h Ave had no email and I've no asked the other 16 members. I've also been a SHU delegate I'm trying C@#tthat was treated like a leper after asking why we were paying full wages to the office staff when they were off on the sick if. I never missed a meeting when I was a delegate traveling 90 mile round trip if you get a balance sheet and there's no sense your happy with the balance sheet why would you give up your day for a AGM Don't ask the question if you don't want a truthful answer and when it's no what you want to hear start p!ssing nettles
2. What is the budget set aside for marking stations who decides what marking stations are used what was the cost of hiring the halls for each section as I've said in previous posts Why was section B Basketing on a farm A Bowling club and community hall all to be arranged around previous bookings or crops being harvested all with poor to no facilities to cater for the SNFC never mind the clock checking. As ive said before they had a hall booked that's been used by the SHU SNFC,Federations on previous occasions without complaint Adequate car park Hall seats 240 Bar facilities Kitchen Toilets Hot cold running water Hall made available free even on event of hold overs or races brought forward Panniers sprayed and set up Marking tables St up 2.5 miles from A68 3.5 miles from A1 Two Chinese and a chip shop within 100 yards Clock setters and helpers All at a fixed price of £700 Or a average cost of less than 13.1/2p per pigeon per race The SNFC made a average of £3.20 per bird going through section B marking station this year and they can't or wont use 13.1/2p per pigeon for . In the SNFC secretary and Jim! Words a perfectly adequate venue This is 2016 not 1916 S is not because this venue was on my doorstep I was asked by SNFC to arrange the Booking and there is NO other halls in the Midlothian East Lithuania or Scottish Borders that could or would cater for the SNFC with these facilities available how many venues are jumping forward to cater for pigeon men in this day and age!

Have they stopped posting them! We have pensioners in our club not one is on the internet and 6 don't even have mobile phones 5 members have been at my door today and only 1 has a balance sheet he got it on Thursday I went on SHU website myself after seeing this post to look at balance sheet and couldn't find it. I know the AGM is in December but after seeing a post on here re the bird flu that someone had phoned the SHU or guidance and Linda had apologised about update as she was tired with doing the end of year books so I thought the AGM was running late

It would help if they sent out balance sheets and notify members when AGM is
5. I have asked admin to move my comments to a new column headed SNFC marking stations I don't want to spoil the Shu show one
6. This is what I can't understand the problems finding a adequate venue through the west in the East and they get offered one with of road parking marking less than 50 ft from transporter Toilets bar kitchen and in the phonecall I last had with the SNFC secretary Mary Pryde Me and Jim have been to see the venue and found it perfectly adequate but circumstances out with our control we will need to cancel the venue Breakdown of costs to the SHU Covering all 7 national flying club races and clock checking Hire of halls £150 for 7 races Cleaners x2 £240 for 7 races Hire of lighting £167 for 7 race Barstewards wages £120 for opening club and bar out with opening hours Total £661 leaving £39 forDisinfectant for panniers The barsteward had agreed on a 10 hour maximum charge at £12 per hour but it would've been nearer 20 house This is in no way a dig at Mary Pryde I had many a civil phone call with her and found her pleasant but what are the circumstances out with the control I'm sick of people stopping me and asking why the SNFC cancelled Easthouses miners club as if they were ripping them off but for a once a year event it's a top venue
7. It will be interesting to see how much these other places used cost this year and a breakdown on other marking station costs
8. Well I was contacted this year to use Easthouses club as the marking station for section B after arranging the club booking the hall that seated 240 people arranging lighting and a hall to be made available even in the event of hold overs for clock checking cleaners access to kitchen a car park that holds 60 cars and the transporter 15 helpers the place set up ready to go tables could be set up 10pm night before panniers sprayed and shavings put in and set up 3x clock setters all been used and still being used by the SNFC tat was for 7 races and 7 clock checking with open bar for a grand total of £700 for the 7 races then they cancelled it and decided to use a scout hall a farm and a bowling club and when the clocks are being checked you never know where you'll be also if the marking time brought forward because of other bookings. Now I understand why the SNFC cancelled the bookings as they must've felt aggrieved by the fact the last time they used the club the nearly blew it up by putting the pies in the oven thinking it was electric and not lighting the gas. Not replacing the 4 panniers belonging to Easthouses social flying club they borrowed or the Dials sealing pliers ringer or shavings so as you can see they've been hard done by.

15.

Yes Davies there will always be the ones that will flaunt the rules. There is a rule that makes all this arguing pointless and that would need to be changed before any of this even became relevant As usual people get tunnel vision before they look at the big picture
16. The S.H.U. and the S.N.F.C. need to understand their own rules before they start implementing more nonsense into pigeon racing regarding placement of E.T.S. Pads Just another sign of some clown bumping there gums over something that could never stand up in court same old same old at this time of year every year
17. Auditors report SHU meeting Dec 2013 there was a decline in membership of 5% per year partnerships will make up another 20% and ghost members? There will be at least 30% less lofts than members in Scotland
