Does these guys send all pigeons to every race each week ? Or do they miss races and jump the birds ?

Aye a think it is thAt pair that's causing the damaged john once the birds are getten close to the area they head of there line of flight and over the east towArds tinto hill just to avoid them , a think am going to stop training and just send them to every race cause it's gutting when u train them and your losing good experienced birds from a 20 mile toss , that's all my race team had a race now so here's hoping they manage ok with out training

It's getting that way m8 but these birds am training are for going to France hopefully so I didn't want to send them to every race just to get them fit but the way training is going am going to need to send them to every race .

A don't know if everyone's on the same boat but the last few weeks training my birds has went tits up for every good toss I get the next turns out a nitemare with at least 1 missing and or injured , at this rate my season will be over before it's really started . Also what's training young yins going to be like if I can't get experienced birds home from 20 mile . Are these hawks killing our sport quicker than anyone realises ??
  10. I was at wetherby along with yourself with coalburn and most of my birds whee the same red wattles and soaked
  11. With thAt south west wind m8 your birds wouldn't of been far away from that area , fingers crossed they went south and some more turn up for u this week
  12. Well m8 af got family in the borders and they informed me on Saturday morning that around Hawick hills there was low cloud cover that never cleared right till late morning
  13. A heard the hills at Moffat to Galashields had low laying cloud for most of the morning with thick fog patches in low laying areas and IMO is if they pigeons got chased south they will try up but ours never last week and not Many of your fed has this week
  14. It's part and parcel now with the sport m8 we got hammered last week with members losing 13 and two losing 9 and a couple losing 6 and that's just in 1 club , personally IMO is that it's more than just the hawks that's wiping uz out a don't agree with these early morning libs from 100 and 150 mile mark a heavy thunder storm or low fog will wipe a batch of doos out quicker than a Percy will , IMO this is why there are lots of yearlings missing older doos are wiser and sit down or try go round where yearling are daft and try go through imo
  15. Got another , 1st doo the day 29/31 now , wee hens second race and that's her out been a very lucky bird got a big hole in her side
  16. 28 now from 31 fir some reAson it's yearlings am losing that's 9 in two weeks

  21. 26 home fae 35 birds been coming all day it wasn't a good race at all
