  6. Hi all, I'm after a bit of advice, I know the roundabout about requires cock and hens to be spit but why do I need to roundabout? Could I not just keep them in the same sections? Just need abit of advice and for some one to explain why they need to roundabout. Cheers
  7. i fly with my old fella, there are alot of pros with being partners as many hands make light work, money because we split the feed bills birds that we buy and the cost of petrol for training and so on, 2 pairs of eyes in the loft are better than one for picking up on stuff that one might miss, nearly all of the members in our club have partners or helpers. the cons are arguing over which bird we are going to nom!
  8. Got 2 this morning so that is 17/20
  9. lot 25, £90
  10. Millom SFC saw 12 members send 295 bird to wollaston, aprox 129 miles.
  11. Lot 25 £70
  12. im interested, PM'd you.
  13. that is not to bad compared to us, we were 25 mins behind this week from a 108 mile race and 20 mins the week before that from an 86 mile race, mind we are on natural and they are heavy in the moult, and they don't exercise they just sit on next doors roof after 2 mins flying.
  14. 14 members sent 310 birds, we sent 21.

  23. hey up guys, it was my second race on saturday, didnt come last this time out of 10 members and 450 birds so getting better, 5 mins behind the winning bird though but an improvement on last week, would have been 3mins but for roof topping . looking to close that gap next race and hopefully get scoring by the end of the season, 18 birds sent 18 returned NO LOSSES HIGHLIGHTED!
  24. apologies, i will not do that again!
  25. hi, other members in the club have also lost birds from the loft this year, they say it is because other clubs come here to train and our YB's go with them, the other clubs used to call to warn that they were doing a training toss so on that day we could keep our birds in but that hasnt happened this year. i let my young birds out in the morning then all of a sudden they are in with hundreds of trainers, and that is why i lose birds from the loft.
