    Training

i`m starting this weekend weather looks good for a week at least.
  2. its snowing heavy here in tewkesbury too been on since about 11 pitching slightly on the grass now .
  3. talking about straw and hearing people say about it being jaggy for the birds in the wild they use twigs and sticks surly they are jaggy for the birds .
  4. it is free i downloaded it the other night and seems good and easy to use .
  5. do my old birds after training and same with young birds better to wait than waste money jabbing birds you might lose.
  6. what i do if they call me i always ask them to hold and then put the phone down and carry on doing what i was as if they ring you its them that has to pay the call .
  7. the server will crash when it gets to 210 lol
  8. 2 of mine are 12 inches off the ground so the dog can get under it the lil shed is on railway sleepers but the ground is hollowed out underneath so when it rains it fills with water but the loft stays dry vermin wont nest in places that will flood .
  9. i had this last year with a pair both cock and hen would sit tight in the bowl with no eggs try floating some eggs under them once they have reared one round they got on with laying their own after that .
  10. nope he is pulling the beak ;D it does work done it myself last year this way out of 23 young birds on 1 was wrong .
  11. the way i see it is if a non fancier contacts the owner a fancier can collect and hold the bird ready for pick up as you all know sometimes the transport aint going your way for 2 or 3 days also its better for a fancier to pick up a bird cos a non fancier would not know a healthy bird from one close to death at least if we collect the bird we can let the owner what condition the bird is in sometimes its better to bin a bird than spend £30 to get a bird back just to die either in transit or when it arrives back home.
  12. if there is no holes in your loft but have dowels get them wired up as i had this last year since i wired up all the doweled fronts and air holes no more problems also check behind nest boxes etc too .
  13. the thing is all these people that are moaning about these new rings always say i can see eggs being broken by them for gods sake your young birds wont have eggs yet they are too young wait and see when they go down on eggs before you complain . most complainers are anti ets anyway .

    breeding mix

read it properley adam 50%+50% =100% the pellets are 19%protein not another 19% added on so with wheat being 15.2% and the pellets being 19% protien that is 34.2% protein
