Its a surprise to me so far this season after a couple of races that fanciers are saying they have dropped this bird or that bird. 1 Is this an excuse for not getting full returns from short distances 2 Birds not fit and shoved in the basket for a race / to make up numbers 3 you tell me is it the weather 4 why keep birds all winter if you know they will fail at the first test heard a lot of excuses please surprise me winner wins me scraper for a week if am off work and quite near lol

i think winning an average over the year is an example of how good you are at club level over the year. av'e been runner up in combine averages winner of combine averagers at club level on certain races i have been guilty of putting all eggs in one basket so to speak but you never know what happens on a race day members can win 9/10 race and get a smash and not get a feather on the last race. belive me i have learned a lesson good luck
