hope they return soon for you Lindsay. i have held back on letting them out.i plan to let the racers out this Sunday for the first time ,and i am a little worried to be honest .

we get feed in every 3 weeks , and it seems to increase every visit .still have enough layers pellets from last year ,so ok for now. i geuss i will have to bite the bullet and reduce the amount of birds we have .

page 59 of this weeks B.H.W a club report on Smithfield .h.s. (my old club) .does this settle the old E.T.S. versus Clock arguement , the club last season had a grant to purchase ETS for all members ,they all had it ,with one exception the "clock setter" chose to carry on with the T3 ,and low and be-hold ,he was the highest prize winner .well done cousin Stevie .

just need to wait then , be patient.

hopefully he will reply when he,s ready too .its not always easy to understand how people are feeling ,even when theyve written a reply .i think i can understand your post , but there not always clear to me. some of its geuss work ,you have to be able to read between the lines too. the reply you had may seem a little harsh , but you have to understand his point of view .keep yer chin up pal.

the only advice i can give you right now is to take it on the chin pal. keep asking the questions and you will learn .the answers you dont like ,take no notice of them ,simple as that .enjoy the birds you have , breed off them and fly the youngsters .

good luck with the youngsters ,maybe keep the older birds in as requested .keep asking questions , we can all learn .

so the owner got the cheque , but no trophy ,thats a shame .a trophy to remember the achievement would have been a good thing .

split them , 1/2 rations of barley for a week ,or more if you can .

i used to have them vaccinated as young (just weaned),and some in the nest .later additions perhaps 4 or 5 weeks later ,done as they went over .none done twice,and never (knowingly) had any problems.

Main Race Loft = most racers feeding large yb,s 12 recently rung .1 pair feeding 2 small chicks ,and 3 pairs not sitting .sounds a bit "out of tune" but me happy enough with diffrent nest conditions ,hopefully any form will come at different times. Natural,s section = some have just laid ,5 pairs yet to (only recently put together) will sit pot eggs for a good while yet tho.Stock Loft = 3 yb,s in 2 nests ,other some have laid 2nd round eggs ,and others about too . Main Race Loft will start to be let out this Sunday (all being well)
