my club mate Jim has had a broken message . basically his youngster SU 15 E 235 is/was in Newcastle , taken to the "corn shop" to be collected by a "Scottish fancier" . we would like to be able to contact (hopefully) the fancier who has collected his and other birds . Or the shop itself to find out who ? or where the youngster is now. any information gratefully recieved , thanks in advance.

Gladsmuir p.c. saw 11 members send 258 race birds to Ridsdale (2) . libbed 9.45 in a South West wind . this weeks card winners are..... 1st D.Grieve ,,,,,,,,,, vel 1370. 2nd Mr&Mrs Burgess ,,,, vel 1364. 3rd G.Wardaugh ,,,,,,,, vel 1353. 4th Mr&Mrs Burgess ,,,, vel 1350. 5th Mr&Mrs Burgess ,,,, vel 1350. 6th Ian Rowley ,,,,,,,, vel 1341. other members not too far off the pace were Len Jones,Jim McNeil,Tucker Watt, Davey Gillan, Andrew Bishop ,Albert Nisbet and Johny Ross . well done to Dougie (mob flyer) Grieve (his words not mine) with this weeks winner , i am told he also bred Spider Rowley 6th place card winner . very good returns for most , with many just waiting on a "few" .

well done Graham , this weeks winner with the closest velocity . first bird home to Team Burgess lofts recorded a velocity of 1364.
