I was married on 29th August 1970,my late father in law Jock Stirling from Burnbank was waiting on his young birds the day we got married.I lived with my in laws for 4 years while we were waiting for a house and it took off from there.I moved to England 25 years ago ,i still have the doos and we celebrated 40 years married this year.

Ian I remember an article in the Pictorial and the front page had a picture of the pigeon loft on the roof.If my memory serves me right the hospital was in Portsmouth and the loft was on top of the laboratory and they sent blood samples in containers on the birds back.

Frank there was very little wind at the race point,i saw large batches heading over here at 7-30 so they got a good star i dont know if the wind is stronger further up.Good luck everybody.

A young bird out of Mystique sold for £900 at auction last month,this young bird is a grand daughter of Mystique.

I am looking to swap a young bird sire a son of Kannibaal 710 x Mary Kate dam a daughter of Storm Bird x Seven 11,this hen is a full sister to a Dutch National winner this year or a young bird out of a son of John Crehans Mystique paired to a daughter of the above pair.I am looking for a quality bred young Sootnjen.
