  1. I'll second that Alan, fantastic organisation by Ian, great lads on the bus and a fantastic weekend. Is it true Alan that Woolie has gone deaf (something to do with his room mates snoring :X :X :X ;D)
  2. Jim Donaldson's "Reims Girl" 2 x 1st North Section Reims 620 miles, 1st North Section Tours 708 miles and 2 x 2nd North section Tours, beaten by loft mates on both occasions. SNFC Gold Award winner. A truly outstanding distance performer.
  3. Will have a look from round the corner, just incase you lads are dodgy looking characters ;D ;D ;D ;D, but one sniff of Bacardi and I'll be there
  4. Great stuff, it has cleared up yb/sickness for us no problem, but we spotted symptoms early. Have a bottle at our disposal at all times.

  8. Hello ryesway, what I always do is a few days after the young birds have been weaned I basket them up and put them outside the loft for a couple of hours to see their surroundings and they can watch the old birds coming and going. Then I take them one at a time and pop them in through the sputnik. I continue this for 2 - 3 days then instead of poppping them into the sputnik, I place them on the landing board and call them in, once they are going into the trap no problem I put them all onto the loft roof and call them in. Then when they can all reach the top perches, I just open the sputnik and let them come out as they please. It seems like a bit of work, but I find it pays dividends as I hardly lose any young birds off the loft. Hope this helps.
  9. If the Blue Toon can get past Queens Park, we'll sink Celtic for ye in the next round ;D ;D ;D Was doon at Ibrox when we got them in the cup 2 years ago, when Boydie made his debut and got a hat trick against us, but had a good day out, was in hospitality in Meiklejohn Suite, Peter McLoy was wandering about speaking to everybody, watched the game from a box, great day.

  20. Anyone caught cheating should not be allowed to race pigeons again and any official who tries to brush it under the carpet should be relieved of their position and of course hang their heads in shame. Let's hope that the truth of this matter is brought out in the open and recorded in black and white so that it will never happen again, hopefully. just my thoughts.
