  18. Mate of mine found this bird dead at St Fergus Gas Terminal yesterday, half eaten. Peregrines are having a feast there it seems
  19. Didn't see you there Robbie, but as you say an excellent liberation, birds were gone in seconds, they spread out in a line and went straight south, not one straggler The Ayrshire North Road went at 6.45am and again cleared within seconds in a south west direction all in one batch. Should be 2 good races
  20. Wondered why I couldn't get through to the Samaritans, was it you hogging the line Stevie ;D ;D
  21. Usually the first place to look when things don't go your way is at yourself. Race controllers do the most unwanted job in pigeon racing and get most of the flak that goes around. If people get a bad race - blame the race controllers. If they don't liberated birds - why not blame them again. Too many people when they lose pigeons say that their birds were good enough and in perfect condition so it must be the controllers fault. Again well done to the people who clocked in good time, there all well deserved as with no effort you get no reward. As for me I put in a great deal of effort, but got something wrong, but rest assured, I will try and turn it around for Eastbourne. A poor result gets me down for a day or two, but then I get a stronger determination to do well. You have to take the good with the bad
